Oligospermia
Oligospermia is when the semen has a low concentration of sperm. Oftentimes, semen with decreased sperm concentration may also show significant abnormalities in sperm morphology and motility.
What causes oligospermia?
- Poor hormonal support
- Surgery
- Chemotherapy
- Radiation
- Infection
- Natural aging
- Poor general health
- Steroids
- Testicular factors (e.g. varicocele)
- Immunology problems

- Asthenospermia: The sperm has very low motility
