Dr. Sule Dogan
LABORATORY DIRECTOR
Dr. Dogan is currently serving as the director of laboratory operations at IVF Michigan and IVF Ohio Fertility Centers. With a combined clinical and research experience, Dr. Dogan has been in the reproductive biology field since 2006. She started her IVF career in Turkey where she obtained her clinical embryology and andrology training and worked for two years at the IVF Clinic of Dokuz Eylul University Medical School while she was pursuing her master’s degree in the Histology & Embryology department of the same medical school. After she joined IVF Michigan Fertility Centers as an embryologist in May 2013, she started serving as the quality control and laboratory supervisor in 2015 and then became the laboratory director in 2019. She has opened up new andrology laboratories, trained many andrologists and embryologists in the last ten years. Dr. Dogan is a certified by American Board of Bioanalysis (ABB) as Technical Supervisor in Andrology and Embryology, and as High Complexity Laboratory Director (HCLD). She has many publications in international journals, including many book chapters. Dr. Dogan has been serving as a reviewer for scientific journals and conferences since 2010. She received a research scholarship from Mississippi State University in 2010 for her doctoral studies. She is also the recipient of the Embryologist of the Month award in November 2018 by American College of Embryology (ACE).
EDUCATION
Dr Dogan received her bachelor’s degree (BSc.) in biology from Ankara University in 2003, master’s degree (M.Ed.) in biology science education in 2005, and another master’s degree (MSc.) in Histology & Embryology in 2008 both from Dokuz Eylul University in Turkey. Then she was selected for a doctoral research assistantship position at Mississippi State University’s Department of Animal and Dairy Sciences in 2010 where she completed her PhD in Life Sciences/ Genetics, and she graduated in 2013.
