Dr. Suruchi Thakore
REPRODUCTIVE ENDOCRINOLOGIST
Dr. Suruchi Thakore is a physician specializing in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Thakore cares for patients at the Grand Rapids and Traverse City locations. Prior to moving to Michigan, Dr. Thakore was the Division Director of the University of Cincinnati Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. There, she was a patient and physician advocate for the State of Ohio for infertility and women’s reproductive health. She has a strong passion for providing evidence-based care to optimize the success of her patients. Dr. Thakore’s interests include polycystic ovarian syndrome, fertility preservation, management of infertility, and use of third party reproduction to create families. She believes that everyone has a right to build a family and that infertility is a journey. Dr. Thakore is honored to be a guide and advisor to her patients to help achieve their family planning goals. She looks forward to making a home in Michigan and continuing helping patients through their journey.
EDUCATION
Dr. Thakore received her medical degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo School of Medicine in 2009. In 2013, she completed her OB/GYN residency at the Women and Children’s Hospital in Buffalo, NY. In June 2016, she completed her Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Fellowship at University Hospitals at Case Western Reserve University and moved to UC Health Center for Reproductive Health at the University of Cincinnati. There, she became an Associate Professor, was Director of the Third Party Reproduction Program, was Medical Director of IVF. In 2020, she became the Division Director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She is Board Certified in OB/GYN and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
