Update on maintaining safety at IVF Michigan
-
Continuing to use telehealth appointments for established and new patient consultations.
-
Requiring all patients and staff to wear a mask. We ask that you bring your own mask; if you don’t have one, we will provide one for you. We thank you for doing your part in protecting yourself and our staff.
-
At this time, we are only allowing the patient into our office; this will reduce the amount of people in the office at one time. Partners and children will not be allowed into the office. In addition, only patients are allowed into the procedure area for retrievals and embryo transfers.
-
Requiring patients to call from their vehicle when they arrive, so an IVF Michigan staff member may perform COVID-19 screening before entering the building. After passing the COVID-19 screening, the front desk will check patients in and call them when it is time to enter our office. After entering, a temperature will be taken to complete the screening process.
-
Cleaning and disinfecting all work areas at the start and end of each shift, and throughout the day as needed.
-
Implementing hand hygiene as directed by CDC.
-
Following 6-feet social distancing.
-
Checking patients and staff temperatures.
- Testing our patients with serology for COVID-19 prior to any surgical procedure.
- Utilizing ultraviolet light to disinfect laboratory areas when patients and staff are not in the office.
